ABC’S of a Successful Gospel Meeting

Attend every service (Hebrews 10:25).

Bring others with you to every service (John 1:40 42).

Cooperate in every capacity (Titus 3:1)

Devote yourself fully to the success of this evangelistic effort (Acts 2:42 47).

Examine yourself in the light of every lesson presented (2 Cor. 13:5).

Faithfully receive every lesson presented as the word of God and not the word of men (I Thess. 2:13).

Gather your friends and relatives together as Cornelius did in order that they might hear the word of the Lord (Acts 10:24,27,33).

Hear with the view of believing and obeying the soul saving messages (Rom. 10:13 15).

Investigate the lessons by a daily study of the Sacred Scriptures (Acts 17:11).

Joyfully blend your voice with other Christians in singing the sweet songs of spiritual Zion (Psa. 18:24).

Kindly greet every person present and make them feel welcome, especially our visitors (Prov. 18:24).

Lend encouragement for others to accompany you to worship the great God of heaven (Psa. 122:1; Isa. 2:2 3).

Meet with Jesus and his people at each service (Matt. 18:20).

Neglect no opportunity to support the meeting in every way (James 4:17).

Obey the gospel during this evangelistic endeavor if you are not already a Christian (Rom, 10:17; John 8:24; Luke 13:13; Rom. 10:9 10; Mark 16:16).

Promptly be present at every service (Rom. 12:11).

Quench not the Spirit’s message from the Bible as the preacher gives it at each service (I Thess. 5:19).

Reverently participate in all phases of every service (Psa.89:7; Heb. 12:28).

Set your mind on things above for this meeting and continue that profitable habit onward (Col. 3:1 2).

Treasure up the nuggets of God’s truths which shall be spoken in this meeting (Psa. 119:11).

Utter a daily prayer for the meetings success (Col 4:2; I Thess. 5:17).

Vow to build up yourself in the faith that is most holy (Jude 20).

Worship the Lord your God at each service in the beauty of holiness (I Chron. 16:29; Psa. 29:2).

eXcuse yourself from none of these services (Luke 14:17 21).

Yield yourself with selfless consecration and total dedication to this great effort (Rom. 6:13).

Zealously promote this work  (Gal. 4:18).
